A video made in collaboration with my Uncle John, who supplied the sound. It was an excellent Christmas present. He’s the voice of weekday breakfasts at Bolton FM, have a listen if you’re up insanely early in the North West.

Communication is hard. Communing with nature is simple, but a bit awkward when trees keep getting cut down all over the place. Creatures made out of plastic climb through the clear fell and try to find their words, long-loved friends with epic origin stories of their own; remaining relics from the age of childhood cry into an echoey room. Accents and inflections and pitches attach to their fluffy mouthpieces, personalities stitched together in China and in the edit.
