A film about trees and storms and time and forever and snow and wind and summer and latin names I won’t remember and phone cameras and getting a tripod and duration and collapse and movement and spotted flycatchers and that old disposable waterproof camera and indexing and a sketchbook and persistence and forest bathing and rest and trees and trees and trees and trees and childhood and familiarity and memories and sentimentality and common names and legacy and rot and replacement and the wood wide web and what even is that? and breath and waiting and snow and erratic weather and climate anxiety and small pleasures.
Landscape Landscape follows a series of fallen trees over the course of 13 months in the aftermath of Storm Arwen – one of the increasingly frequent and alarming weather events to cause damage to woodlands across the British isles.
