A film that started life as a frustrated retaliation against modern rural frustrations and turned into something about joy and play and friendship and the outdoors and asking permission and asking for help and asking please don’t and throwing stuff and trying to fly and jumping in puddles and resigning yourself to getting soaked and and did I mention friendship and also taking control and losing control and learning something new and trying to return to childhood.
