Hello lovely readers,
I hope you’re enjoying the daffodils, if you have there where you are. This is just a little blog post before I go outside and frolic in the park to let you know two things:
Firstly, that I’m going to be sharing Bodies in Water at Alchemy Film & Moving Image Festival in Hawick at the beginning of May – I’m super excited about the whole programme, which I’ll link to at the bottom of the page. Alchemy is my favourite event in the Hawick calendar (this may not sound like a controversial statement if you’re not from Hawick…) and their programme is always excellent.
Secondly, I’ve just launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the printing of, and some of the other expenses of my next book, Instant Photos from an Ancient Woodland: Spring. It’s been more than a year since my last book (Autumn) in this series was launched, thanks to a successful campaign to raise £500 to pay for printing, film for the camera, other costs, and a tiny bit of my time working on the project. Books are £20 – £5 less than outside of Kickstarter, and There are also options to collect the previous books in the series, as well as limited edition giclée prints of some of the photographs. 🌱
