20/12/23 (The Christmas gift nobody asked for)

But don’t worry it’s only 3 minutes and 26 seconds of your life you won’t get back.

I decided to make this video last Christmas, but it was too late by the time I’d figured out a plan, and I only just remembered on the 20th this year. The price of stamps is at an all-time high (probably? I don’t know, I’m not fact-checking it now, I’ve got a turkey dinner to get to), and the Hawick Scout Post doesn’t deliver outside of town, so here’s your Christmas card from me. πŸŽ…πŸ»πŸ¦§πŸŽ„πŸ„πŸŒ

Usually, I reserve the last paragraph of my blog posts to suggest that if you enjoyed whatever it is I’ve posted, and you’ve got spare money, you might send some in the form of a tip to me on one of my various platforms. This Christmas, as the video (hopefully) suggests, I’ve got more than enough pencils, and there are plenty of other folk that need the money more than I do, especially in the many places that people are getting bombed, shot at and other horrible things for no good reason. If you enjoyed this Christmas card, or if you didn’t, please donate what you can, if you can, to a charity to do some good. Here’s a couple links to charities that do good stuff if you’re not sure where to start. There are loads of others out there too.

Oxfam (you can specify which emergency fund to donate to or their general fund)
British Red Cross
